Spiritual accompaniment is time set aside for a conversation that often doesn’t happen anywhere else.
A conversation where you don’t need to have the right words, tidy conclusions or even a clear idea of why you’ve come.
We’ll start wherever you are.
Every conversation unfolds differently because every person arrives with a different story.
There are moments of silence and moments where words come easily. We might explore a piece of scripture, reflect on an image, or simply stay with a question that doesn’t need an immediate answer.
We don’t need to solve everything in an hour. We stay with whatever feels most important rather than rushing on to the next thing.
I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and give people the time to notice what is happening beneath the surface of their own lives. I won’t arrive with an agenda for you or your life. We’ll discover what’s important together.
As a registered member of ROSIM, I work within clear ethical and safeguarding standards. My practice is trauma-informed, supported through regular professional supervision and committed to creating a space where people can speak honestly without fear of judgement or pressure.
A few things I believe
I believe people rarely need someone to tell them what to believe.
More often, they need someone who will listen without trying to fix them.
People often leave with the same questions they arrived with, but they find themselves seeing those questions differently.
Whether faith has been part of your life for years, whether you’ve walked away from it completely, or whether you’re simply curious, you are welcome.
If you’d like to explore whether spiritual accompaniment is right for you, I’d be glad to hear from you.
Blessed Be,
Justin
